Today, LG Electronics Canada announced its latest flagship LG G8 ThinQ, is available in Canadian carriers. Its minimalist re-design has features never seen on a phone before.
CES 2019 has left the building. Before I jump into my annual CES rant I want to share a moment. A tale of two worlds happening at the same right to the closing day.
The new LG G6 smartphone has a feature no other phone maker can match:
Breathtaking super-wide 13 megapixel photos, part of its unique dual camera design using a standard 71 degree view f1.8 normal optical image stabilization (OIS) lens and a unique zoomable f2.4 software stabilized 125 degree view lens, also 13 MP. Its wide view coverage can be zoomed to where the standard lens takes over. The front 5MP f2.2 selfie also offers a 100 degree wide view.
NEWS UPDATE:Samsung confirmed plans to sell a refurbished Note 7 this year. It will recycle parts of the phone and possibly add new features, but sadly, will mot be available in North America.
This is a big week for Samsung, launching its much awaited S8 smartphone in New York on March 29.
When global media gather in the New York this Wednesday morning, Samsung’s slick marketing machine will be in full swing. Many rumours about the new S8 will be true, others not.
